The Child Concept Art

Behold the child creature! This is a character concept of a child with very large claws for hands and striped arms. I drew heavy inspiration from the style of Tim Burton and created a character that would live and roam in his type of world. I really wanted her weight to be dependent on her claw arms so that she could swing, just as she is about to in the pose. Her face is very expressive, almost giving into worry or feeling alone. I would imagine her not feeling accepted or belonging to anything because of how she looks.
